Gridlock in Congress Should Be No Surprise
There seems to be a lot of consternation over the fact that Congress can’t get anything done. Many people are wringing their hands. The talking heads seem to be confused. The whole debacle is as plain as the nose on your face. Republicans, for the most part, were voted into office to do one thing – stop President Obama. It didn’t matter what it was he was proposing. Their job seems to be to oppose it. This is why we haven’t gotten anything done. It is impossible to get anything done when one party says no to everything.
