One of the greatest R&B bands of all time.  They had a run of about 5 – 7 years before they jumped in the disco scene never to return to their previous form.  In 1975, the group record the album (yes, they were albums back then) That’s the Way of the World, for a very forgettable movie of the same name.  I’m not sure but I think that the album made more money than the movie!!  The hit song Shining Star went to #2 on the Pop charts.  The hits came fast and furious after that.  This tune September was from their
