Former Massachusetts Governor and Republican presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney simply doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand that President Obama is the perfect example of American exceptionalism. President Obama was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He wasn’t born into wealth. Instead, through hard work and fabulous education, he walked the long journey from Honolulu to the White House. So, when Mitt Romney says, “I don’t think the president, by his comments, suggests an understanding of what it is that makes America a unique nation,” I just have to laugh.
