I have been screaming for about 3 years that we didn’t destroy the Taliban. Well, strangely, it looks like I was right.
There seems to be an idea that is floating around space that insurgents are a bunch of morons running around without a clue. I have thought for sometime that this perception is 100% WRONG. The insurgents have killed innocents, women and child but for the most part they have worked with purpose. Here’s a short list of what I think has been a thoughtful overall strategy – Bombing the UN, removes world support Targeting coalition forces, removes whatever allies we had Selectively target Americans Now we learn that they have figured out how to target our helicopters From NYT: Documents captured
