Never let an opportunity to shape the message and politicize the situation go by. Karl didn’t. Rove called the President a man of “great vision and courage.” (you can comment below.) Leahy promises to press on with his investigations. John Conyers calls for Rove to come clean. Although many have called Rove a mastermind and a genesis, he really isn’t. He had the opportunity to make Bush into the greatest modern president but he didn’t. He chose great partisanship over great policy. We are left with a Great dud.
