I’m not sure that there’s any subject in the United States more contentious than guns. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but when you sit down and think about the arguments that we’ve had over guns, gun control and gun rights, there are no new arguments. Over the last 30 years we’ve heard the exact same arguments over and over and over again. As far as I can tell, there’s no new data. We have reached an impasse.
