There seems to be some ATF fallout from a operation called Fast and Furious. I’m still not sure of all the details but the US attorney in Phoenix has resigned and the ATF director has been reassigned. There’s something fishy here. Well, this is an interesting development. Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has filed an injunction against the governor. From TPM: In an unprecedented move, the Illinois attorney general asked the state’s highest court Friday to strip scandal-plagued Gov. Rod Blagojevich of his powers. Lisa Madigan took the action as pressure on the governor intensified to step down and lawmakers considered impeachment. Republican fallout after Craig

Did you notice that Craig didn’t say that he was going to resign, instead, he said it was his intent to resign?  Sloppy language?  Hidden agenda?  One of the things that bothers me with the party of “moral values” is the continual double standard.  Craig has to resign.  Vitter, whose phone number was in the DC Madam’s Rolodex, did some backdoor creeping and he gets nothing.
