The Sunday morning talk shows did serve a purpose many decades ago. They informed the public about what was going on in DC. In the ’60s and ’70s, these Sunday talk shows revealed what was going on in Washington. Back then, politicians rarely spoke to the media. We could only get small snapshots of our elected officials in the morning papers. That was decades ago. Now is different.
