CNN’s medical coorespondant is a neurosurgeon. Who knew? I thought he was internal medicine. It is very odd for a neurosurgeon to leave years of training and turn to the media as a career. Anyway, Sanjay Gupta, MD does a good job explaining what an AVM (arteriovenous malformation) is.
