I was talking with my car dealer today.  (Yes, I’m up there so often that they know me by name.)  Anyway, we were talking about politics.  He said that someone on the Sunday talk shows was going on and on about the Saturday Night Live effect.  One of the main reasons that Hillary Clinton won Texas and Ohio was Saturday Night Live.  He said that the pundit was 100% wrong.  No one really watches Saturday Night Live any more. Oprah effect

In the next several days, we can watch the media analyze the Oprah effect. The rest of us already know that she has focused her star power on the presidential race and on Barack Obama. She has the ability to move people. A rare quality. In order for Obama to win the democratic nomination, he will need to win 2 of the first 3 primaries.  This is the key and Obama knows it.  If Hillary Clinton is able to sweep the first 3 primaries then all of the chatter that the talking heads have done are right.  She is already crowned.
