The difference between being good and great

There are those out there that continually point to Alex Rodriquez‘ regular season’s huge numbers and say that he is one of the best ever. I continually point out that the great players play great in the crutch. Great players make others great. Alex Rodriquez needed to go 5 for 5 or 4 for 5 but he didn’t. He needed to hit with guys on base. He didn’t. I will concede that Alex Rodriguez is one of the best of all time but in the clutch I’ll take Boston’s David Ortiz who hit .714 when his team needed him. I’ll take
