The graph below illustrates the unemployment rate from 1970 through 2012. Looking at this graph, which president presided over the highest unemployment rate? Reagan. Now, which president presided over the lowest unemployment rate? Clinton.

Republicans have been wailing about the divorce rate more than the rate of children born out of wedlock. Michele Bachmann was just the latest. So I find it hard to believe that in the year 2012, church members, Black church members who want to get married in their own church, have been met with opposition by several White church members. Basically, as I understand the story, some Black members of a majority White church want to get married. This is a heterosexual relationship. Yet, some of the White members have written letters to the pastor who has agreed to marry these members, opposing their marriage. All I can say is that there are some people who go to church every Sunday and yet do not understand the basics of what Christianity is all about. Love, forgiveness, understanding and tolerance.
