ritenour

This is a fun tune.  Lee Ritenour is a fabulous guitar player.  I’m not sure how this album came to my attention.  I know that I bought this album during college.  I probably heard it while I was in a record store.  Portions of the album were recorded in Dallas which was an attraction for me.  Not much was recorded in Dallas back in the early 80’s.  Anyway, for those of you who like lite jazz before it was played everywhere Rit is a wonderful album.

As an added note, Lee Ritenour got with Dave Grusin a couple of years later and they made Harlequin which is a Brazilian favored jazz album.  It is one of the best albums that I have ever heard.
