Better than Anything is one of my favorite tunes.

The first artist I heard sing Better than Anything was Al Jarreau. Now, I like the Natalie Cole/Diana Krall version (it is very playful), but I love the Al Jarreau version. There is something magical about the way he phrases his words. The words seem to roll off his tongue. The way that he phrases things seems to enhance the notes. Finally, the solo that he takes at the end of the song is simply fabulous.
