Michael Irvin was the emotional heart of the Cowboys during their great run the early 90’s. Everyone knows his off the field problems. Rick Gosselin long time sports writer for the Dallas Morning News has said about the Cowboys of the early 90’s – How could the Cowboys have a quarterback better than Staubach, a wide receiver better than Drew Pearson and a running back better than Tony Dorsett?
