Why did I watch the Green Hornet?

I love movies. I have watched some of the greatest movies over the last 40 years and I have watched some of the worst. Think about the some of the great Super Hero films – SuperMan (Christopher Reeves, of course), SpiderMan and Batman to name a few. On the other side of great films, I have watched some terrible Super Hero movies, like SuperGirl, Elektra and CatWoman. Add the Green Hornet to the list. It was really awful from start to finish. It is one of those films that you have to wonder which executive at the movie studio read the script and thought that it would be a good idea to make this this film. Was he high?

Jay Chou was pretty good as Kato. Cameron Diaz was completely wasted as the “babe/love interest.” She basically redid her role in the Mask. The Mask was a great film. This was not. Seth Rogen was just plain bad as the Green Dude. This was simply a bad movie. Normally, I would rate this an F but because this was a royal waste of my time, I’ll rate it a Z.
