Slow Down

A young woman I knew reasonably well died last year on a Texas road. She was not at fault in the accident. She was a smart young person and would have had a great life. As it was, she did plenty of good for others in the time she had. In her death notice in the newspaper, and in the program at her service, her parents wrote, “(We) would like to encourage everyone to slow down and be careful on all the highways of life.” I think of this everyday. Shrum offers advice to Clinton

Okay, stop laughing.  Bob Schrum has been the man behind the campaign for almost 2 decades.  He is famous among Democratic Washington circles.  Unfortunately, his track record is 0-9.  Maybe I’m wrong.  I’ll check but his track record isn’t good.  In spite of this he serves up some advice to Hillary Clinton. Olbermann poses a very unlikely question.  Suppose Bush called you for advice?  What would you tell him?  Fix the Israel-Palestine problem.  You should look like we (the US) prefer cooperation over unilateralism.  That’s off the top of his head.  When was the last time that Bush say something that was half as thoughtful?
