NFL suspends Vick

The NFL did the only thing that they could do. 



The National Football League has indefinitely suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick without pay, officials with the league said Friday.

Earlier, Vick admitted to participating in a dogfighting ring as part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in Virginia.

“Your admitted conduct was not only illegal, but also cruel and reprehensible. Your team, the NFL, and NFL fans have all been hurt by your actions,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to Vick.  (more…)

  1. I’m thinking it’s unforgivable. The code of conduct for any “man” is that you don’t do harm to those Unegual to yourself. To physically kill something that looks to you for life and guidance to appalling. What has society come to when we let someone who’s main goal is to entertain us get away with murder, might have well as bashed a baby on a wall. We all pay for it in the end.Equal punishment? Toss him a a pen of hogs with peanut butter smeared on him-see how long he last! Broke the code of the warrior we look up to-shame on you!

    Love the passion. I’m not sure that Vick murdered anyone if you accept that the definition of murder has to do with killing human beings.

    I’m just wondering if you have this type of outrage over the baby that was placed in a microwave by its parents or the baby that was placed in the dryer with the clothes? What should happen to those parents? consulting? or do they get the peanut butter/hog treatment?
