I’m really disappointed when pastors stand up and preach hate. The Bible is a huge book. There is a lot of information in the Bible. There are stories about every human failing – greed, incest, envy and many more. There are stories about murder. There are stories about rage. But, when you stand back and try and look at what the Bible is telling us, the Bible is about love. The Bible is about our love for God. The Bible is about God’s love for us and about our love for each other. This is simple. This is Christianity 101. Maybe Pastor Charles L. Worley simply skipped that class.

Perhaps Pastor Worley didn’t actually go to seminary and study Bible. Or perhaps he attended on so limited that he forgot eating the flesh of an mammal that doesn’t possess a split hoof and chews it’s cud is as forbidden as anything else the Bible says “no” too. It may be that her sermon for this week will detail the evils of pork barbeque. Well, it could!
