So, I like charging at windmills as much as the next guy but it can be tiring. Getting your dander up, jumping on the horse and charging can take it out of you sometimes. Wow. Just thinking about it makes me want to sit down and take a rest.
Over the past several months/years, we have been asked to get really, really riled up over – Benghazi. If you listen to some of the talking heads, we need to get out our pitch forks. Hillary needs to be jailed. She handed secret information to the Iranians or Russians or maybe it was someone from Mars. Wait. What has been proven? Nothing. Hillary Clinton has kept State Department emails on her private server which was NOT against the law at the time. (Can you imagine if all of her emails were on a government server? The GOP could have access to them at any time. There would be a steady stream of “guess what Hillary did” on a dialy basis.) This is Whitewash…Whitewater all over again.
Just the other day, I heard Ben Carson talking about how terrible our federal debt is. We needed to do something about this right away… or ….the sky would fall…there would be a nuclear winter…we would be enslaved by China? Something really, really bad would happen. It is crazy. The federal debt has been coming down rather dramatically over the past several years without massive cuts to Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid.
Look, we do have problems in this country. We need to seriously address these problems or it is going to be difficult or impossible for us to move forward as a country.
