Over the last several days, we have gotten some more information about Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot in Sanford, Florida by a volunteer neighborhood watchman. We have gotten more information on George Zimmerman also. For example, did you know Zimmerman was an alter boy? He was never late to anything in his life. He was always polite. He was an Eagle Scout. He volunteered at homeless shelters and Habitat for Humanity. He met with the pope personally on several occasions and the pope wanted to make him his personal advisor. Zimmerman declined because he thought he could do more good in his local community in Florida. Because of Zimmerman’s community activism, the Florida legislature has declared passed not one but two resolutions in the last three years. George Zimmerman was the volunteer of the year. In one famous incident, Mr. Zimmerman walked into the middle of a 7-11 while it was being robbed. There was a hostage and two thugs – one with a AK-47 and the other with two nine-millimeter Glocs. Using a series of Ninja-like moves, while calling 911, George disarmed both dirtbags, while calling 911 and had them restrained with zip-ties (which he carries with him at all times). This was just one of 15 robberies that he had stopped in the last 12 months. We will not go over the 25 stolen cars he has found, the 32 breaking and entering occurences he has prevented and the numerous cats that he has rescued from trees.
The information that we have gotten on Trayvon was even more fascinating. As it turns out, Trayvon Martin was the youngest narco-terrorist in the world. He ran the most lucrative meth business in the southeast. It was rumored, but never proven, that he had hundreds from people in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi on his payroll. Besides being a practicing Muslim, he had posters of Malcolm X on his wall. He denounced Al Qaeda as a bunch of wimps, but embraced the Black Panthers. He had taken money from his multi-billion empire and funded Bill Ayers and the Underground Weathermen. He has personally funded the New Black Panthers with millions of dollars. His website, ByAnyMeansNecessary.com, was on the Homeland Security’s list of websites to watch. Although Trayvon made straight As, it was/is rumored that he paid off all of his teachers for those grades. Cash payments of $5000 and $10,000 per grade were rumored but never proven. Undercover officers somehow “lost” much of the evidence in an incident that can only be described as bizarre.
Of course, none of this matters. I have made up all of the above. The point is that it doesn’t matter if Trayvon was a saint or a sinner. It doesn’t matter if George is saint or a sinner either. What matters is what happened in that neighborhood one month ago. The details of this case are clear. Trayvon was unarmed. He didn’t have an M-4 assault rifle or his combat knife on him. He had Skittles and an iced tea. He wasn’t breaking into a home. He was walking home. He wasn’t smoking weed or doing crystal meth in the street. George Zimmerman wasn’t attacked in his car. Instead, it was George Zimmerman who engaged Trayvon in spite of being told by police to stand down. Somehow a fight ensued. Then Trayvon was shot. These are the facts in this case. A young man is dead because Zimmerman, for some reason, decided to take the law into his own hands. These are the facts.
