I’m sorry Koo seems sincere. Tony Snow, White House press Secretary, does not. I find it ironic and funny that the White House claims that they do not like spin a manipulation of the press but yet they seem to partake in spin and press manipulation on a continuous basis.
About two or three years ago, I was involved in a conversation with the Republican ditto head. It wasn’t that this guy wasn’t thoughtful, he spent the majority of his time trying to justify actions of the Bush administration hence the reason I call him a ditto head. Anyway, I tried to explain to him why I thought that President Bush did not display the Christians I use that he so clearly states is part of his makeup. I went out of my way to explain that actions speak louder than words but at the same time I could not tell what was in President Bush’s heart. That was for God to judge and not me. Still, I thought it was fair since President Bush touted his religion so often that he could be measured against his words. Without a long and drawnout dissertation, it is clear that Jesus had a special place in his heart for the poor and disadvantaged. President Bush on the other hand, never seemed to go out of his way to help the poor or disadvantaged. As a matter of fact, if you look at his budget, he cut programs for the poor. He never proposed any programs, at least that I’m aware of, that were designed to help the poor and underprivileged. He cut the budget for student loans which of course helps the poor. This ditto head, upon reading my thoughts, went ballistic. He stated that I didn’t know what I was talking about. He took offense at me questioning President Bush’s beliefs. I stated, that I was in no position to question his beliefs. Instead, I was questioning his actions. Distinction was important. The distinction, of course, was lost on this ditto head.
