If you have a population of people who feel that they are not apart of society. That they have no where to go and nothing to lose then suicide bomber may not sound so bad. This report makes it sound like there is nothing for the British society to do. There is a ton that they can do. Accept Muslims into their society or deport them.
Britain's problem with homegrown terror
The tail-end comment is the oddest. Something about how the police are overwhelmed by keeping track of the most dangerous of the extremists. By what definition are they "dangerous"? If they are actively plotting something, then arrest them and charge them and convict them. It's easy to keep track of people when they are in jail. If they aren't actively plotting something, are they just being labeled as "dangerous" because of their race or religion? Maybe those preconceptions are part of why so many British Muslims feel alienated.....
