Attacking Michelle Obama

Come on. They have tried and tried to get something to stick on Barack Obama and it hasn't worked. Now, they are trying his wife. Get real. Bill O'Reilly continues his racist ways by stating, "And I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that's how she really feels -- that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever -- then that's legit." O'Reilly was talking with a caller about Michelle Obama's comment that now, for the first time, she is really proud of her country.

I'm sorry. It doesn't matter what O'Reilly was talking about. The word lynching and reference to a Black person shouldn't be made. Ever!

Update: Besides adding Bill O'Reilly comment, I thought that I would add some video of Michelle Obama's comment. Tucked inside this video is a very short clip of Cindy McCain saying how proud she is of her country. Damn, if I was born into a family that owned the 4th largest Bud distributorship in the country, I would be proud 24/7/365, too. She needs to settle down and recognize.

It's funny, I knew what she meant when she said she was finally proud of America...finally proud that people were getting off their butts and saying..NO MORE!....my die-hard Republican roots are being are sorely being challenged...Susan Fisher will be proud!!! Have a nice evening ECT!

Precisely. He's a raving racist so whatever his "objective" criticisms of Michelle Obama are, they should be taken with a grain of salt. It's harder to be proud of America when you're a Black person: you tend to notice constant discrimination, what happens to minority job applicants, how minorities are portrayed (and not protrayed) on TV and in media, how big an income differential there is between Blacks and whites, etc. You kinda get the feeling this is a racist nation. And yknow what? It is. So what Michelle Obama said, I understand. One small quote like that doesn't really fully explain her whole stand on America and patriotism anyway. If she were fully interviewed, I'm sure she'd be easily able to say lots of things she's proud of America about. People are complex....issues are complex.....life is far, far more complex than the very small brain of O'Reilly can comprehend.
