60 Minutes interviews one of the survivors of the Deepwater Horizon - Mike Williams.
Okay, so the guys on the rig knew that several parts of the blowout preventer were broken and it appears from Mike Williams' story that nobody did anything about it. How can this be a good thing?
Oh, the stupidity was everywhere. BP, TransOcean and Halliburton will be grilled over this.
This is a great segment.

Look at what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico. It does appear that we need divine intervention. For God's sake we're still driving archaic gasoline piston engine cars because of corporate oil dominance. We're poking holes in the planet, burning, cementing and poisoning everything, when you pray for the sins of the world these are the real sins, the slaughter of reverence for life- yours, ours and the planet. I think most people want to leave a small carbon footprint, but the system leaves us all no choice. We're not in Brazil driving sugar ethanol cars, none of the car companies are offering natural gas or affordable electric cars.
