Just 2 short months ago, the Democrats had a field packed with talented candidates. One by one they are dropping out. John Edwards was the latest causality. Now, we are down to Hillary and Barack. Oh, I can't forget Gravel.

O Southern brother, we miss ye already. Though we hardly got to know you, you seemed a good guy. Old school do-gooder. How could you compete with the HRC machine and Obama? I hope you continue to fight a good, honest fight. I hope Obama, once elected, finds a place for you. If not as VP, Atty General would be perfect...you will, after all, help the president maintain standards of integrity we have not seen for a long, long time. Can we say Alberto Gonzales and Mukasey? I rest my case.
