The graph below illustrates the unemployment rate from 1970 through 2012. Looking at this graph, which president presided over the highest unemployment rate? Reagan. Now, which president presided over the lowest unemployment rate? Clinton.
The Americans took second in the 4 x 100 relay. The Olympics is really sensory overload. There's just too much.
Lenovo CEO donated his $3 million bonus to some of its lowest paid workers. Kind of surprising actually.
Republicans have been wailing about the divorce rate more than the rate of children born out of wedlock. Michele Bachmann was just the latest. So I find it hard to believe that in the year 2012, church members, Black church members who want to get married in their own church, have been met with opposition by several White church members. Basically, as I understand the story, some Black members of a majority White church want to get married. This is a heterosexual relationship. Yet, some of the White members have written letters to the pastor who has agreed to marry these members, opposing their marriage. All I can say is that there are some people who go to church every Sunday and yet do not understand the basics of what Christianity is all about. Love, forgiveness, understanding and tolerance.
Mitt Romney, continuing his world charm offensive, as stated that Israel has the right to defend itself. I am at a loss for words. I wonder if Mitt Romney's gonna go to Cowboy Stadium and declare that the Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since the mid-90s.
I find it amusing that several Republicans are now complaining that the GDP is somewhat stagnant when in fact it is the same Republicans who have done everything they can to stop a jobs package.
Facebook is reportedly working with HTC on a new smartphone. Doesn't sound like a good idea but what do I know.
The Dallas Cowboys are in training camp. Everybody's present. Training camp starts tomorrow. Wow. I can't believe it's almost time for football.
Batman's second week of box office receipts was somewhat disappointing. Aurora effect? Batman has grossed over $289 million in its first two weeks, domestically.
