For some reason it just didn't hit the news media like it has the last 5 years. There are over 4800 military killed so far. Over 750,000 civilians killed in both countries. THERE ARE OVER 150,000 TROOPS STILL OVER THERE. What really gets me is when people say well we will cut it down by 20,000 by September. That is all fine and good but, You still have to rotate people in and out. Afghanistan is a nightmare because of the terrain. I am excited for the fact they believe we can handle things without stop lossing people. But we still are spending billions a month. The Iraqis haven't decided how to spend their money and divy up the oil profits. I am glad we are making some progress but we are still at war. Lets not forget.
